Badges

All ranks offer a chat badge on Dormcraft, but some badges are awarded for special achievements, too.

On many Minecraft servers, chat prefixes are used to show which groups a player belongs to. On Dormcraft, each accomplishment comes with a role badge. The badges below are cosmetic roles, assigned to specific members of the community.

Member

The clubmember badge (pickaxe) is reserved for players who have registered as members of Dormcraft's official ASWWU student organization at dormcraft.net/register. Club membership comes with a role in our Discord as well.

Contributor

The contributor badge (book & quill) is reserved for players who have contributed to Dormcraft's development in some way. Most often this is builders, but we also use this badge for former staff members and current community members who have created images, addons, or made changes to the game.

Prestige

The prestige badge (pocketwatch) is reserved for legacy players who have migrated from our V2 world. At the time of migration, players were given the option of "hard mode." Choosing this mode cleared the player's inventory and enderchest, allowing them to start fresh in the new world. Players who chose this option were also awarded the prestige badge.

Richfuck

This badge (diamond) is reserved for players who achieve such impressive in-game wealth that they can afford to spend it on frivolous things like badges. The command /richfuck can be used to acquire this badge, which has no additional permissions.

This badge has 6 tiers, each more expensive to purchase than the last.
