wwu.world is our connection IP address. We use the default port on both Java (25565) and Bedrock (19132), so you don't need to mess around with those.

In the Minecraft Launcher, ensure you are on a supported version 1.18-1.20.2 or more recent. This is shown in the launcher to the left of the "PLAY" button, beneath the profile name. If your launcher says "Latest release," that's okay too.
Once the game is launched, select "add server" from the multiplayer menu.
In the "Server Address" field, enter our IP address: wwu.world
"Server Name" can be whatever you like. Our nameplate will always identify the server in your multiplayer menu once it is saved.
With the game launched, select "Servers" from the "Play" menu, and scroll down past the featured servers on the left to get to the "add server" button.
In the "Server address" dialogue box, enter: wwu.world
By default, the port field should be filled with our port: 19132
"Save" the connection address, and then select it to join!
That's right, you can play our game on Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch! However, due to platform restrictions imposed by Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft, console players have to jump through a hoop or two in order to connect to our Java server. This is because game consoles' default DNS servers often do not accept network traffic from Minecraft game servers. You can change your DNS host yourself if you know how to do it, but this guide uses a simple workaround with a mobile application:
The app you'll need is an adware called BedrockConnect. It can be found in the Apple app store as well as the Android play store. Install and open it; it'll need to be running on the same WiFi network as your console while you play.
In the app, select the "Custom List" which appears at the top, and then the plus icon to add a new server.
In the "Server IP/Domain" dialogue box, enter: wwu.world
By default, the port field should be filled with our port: 19132
Select "Add Server," and the app will now remember Dormcraft.
To play, select "Watch ad & Start," and the server will appear in your LAN games menu within Minecraft. Make sure you have fully connected to the server on your console before navigating away from the app.
